SEA OF BLUE – THE NEXT WAVE

Question: what’s red, white and blue all over?

Well done if you said ‘Twickenham’! While the lads will be playing in our red away kit, we’re calling on you to create a sea of blue in the stands again this weekend! Don’t forget to bring your flags too!

GETTING TO TWICKENHAM

BY CAR

If you’re planning to get to Twickenham by car, please note that a controlled parking zone operates over an area of approximately one mile around the stadium. Fines and towing are enforced in this area, including Sundays. Road closures will be in place two hours prior to the match and 2-3 hours post-match.

There are a number of other major sporting events taking place in and around London on the same weekend, so please leave plenty of time to make your journey.

BY TRAIN/TUBE

South Western Railway will be operating a normal service. There will be no Piccadilly Line on the London Underground, however, as there’s a closure from Acton to Heathrow.

Nearby stations: Twickenham Rail Station (10 min walk), Whitton Rail Station (20 min walk), St Margaret’s Rail Station (20 min walk).

There is also an RFU electric shuttle bus service between Richmond station (District Line and London Overground North London line) and the stadium and a reduced service from Hounslow East station (due to no Piccadilly service) and the stadium, which runs three hours pre-kick off and three hours post-final whistle.

Following the match, private-hire mini cabs can be collected from Twickenham Stoop (Harlequins rugby ground) opposite the stadium along the A316.
