Mission Sharks is our new primary school programme designed to give year five & six children a fun taste of rugby union and also an idea of what it takes to be a Shark. Working in local schools in Salford & Trafford initially, the six-week programme shares our core Sharks values through fun and engaging sessions.

Each week focuses on a Sharks value – Togetherness, Fearlessness, Passion, Pride, Humility – with the final week bringing them all together to create the perfect mini Sharks teammate. 

We’re working hard to level the playing field and give as many children the opportunity to experience rugby union and be a part of the Sharks Family. Since launching the programme we’ve visited 32 schools in Salford & Trafford who’ve received 25 bibs and balls each, reached 1,750 children, and delivered almost 400 hours of coaching.
