Hooker Harry Thompson grew up, along with best friend Patreece Bell, on the Isle of Man, attending Ballasalla Primary School and Castle Rushen High School, and playing his junior rugby at Nomads RUFC from the age of 11.
He joined the Sharks DPP programme at the age of 13, before making the move across to the mainland to complete his sixth form studies at the Sharks breeding ground of Kirkham Grammar School.
Harry says his mum and dad, as well the Isle of Man’s former Director of Rugby Operations Chris Brannigan as his biggest influences.
