Sale Sharks can confirm that former captain Will Addison will leave the club at the end of the current season.
The 32-year-old Cumbrian came through the Sharks Academy as a youngster and played more than 100 games for the club after making his debut in 2010.
He was named Sharks captain ahead of the 2017/18 season but in June 2018 he departed to follow his dream of playing international rugby for Ireland.

A series of serious injuries restricted Will to four test appearances in the famous green shirt and he returned to his boyhood club at the start of the current campaign.
This season he has played 11 times for Sale, scoring two tries, both in the Gallagher Premiership.
Will said: “I owe so much to this club. The club gave me the opportunity to become a professional rugby player and change my life. I really transformed from boy to man while being part of this incredible club.

“Sale Sharks means a huge amount to me and my family. Through the incredible highs and devastating lows I have absolutely loved my time at the club. It has been incredible to create friendships that will last a lifetime and to have had one last year playing alongside them has been incredibly special.
“Leaving now feels very different to when I moved to Ulster in 2018, but l’m so grateful to have had the chance to come back and play a role this season.
“I’m unbelievably excited by the next batch of young players coming out of the Sharks Academy and look forward to watching on as a fan as they drive the club on to a very exciting future.”
