Sale Sharks have signed Scotland centre Evie Wills from Leicester Tigers ahead of the 2025/26 PWR season.

Evie began playing rugby at just eight years old at Stirling County Rugby Club and played there until 2017/18 when she got the call to join Scotland’s 7s set-up.
The versatile back, who can also play fly-half, made her full senior fifteen-a-side debut in 2021 against Italy in the Six Nations and travelled to New Zealand as part of Scotland’s 2022 World Cup squad.
Evie, 24, joined Tigers from Hillhead Jordanhill in Glasgow, before following new Sharks Head Coach Tom Hudson in making the move to Sale.
Evie said: “I felt I needed a change and Sale is the perfect club for me. There are people that I know at the club and coming to the club this summer and that feeling of familiarity is really important.

“I can already tell that the environment and the culture at the club are fantastic and that’s really important for me. I play my best rugby when I’m happy and I have no doubt that will be the case at Sale.
“I really enjoyed working with Tom at Leicester and I can’t wait to work with him and the rest of the coaches.
“I just want to keep improving and I’m so excited to see what we can achieve in the next few years.”

Sharks Head Coach Tom Hudson said: “I actually haven’t seen Evie in person for ages and that’s largely due to the fact that she has fought her way back into Scotland camp following her major injury setback last season.
“So with the best possible intentions, I hope that’s exactly where she stays and we hopefully won’t see her until after the World Cup.
“The grit and determination Evie has shown, combined with her international quality on the field, are two of the main reasons why I’m so excited to have her here up north.
“Short of building a brick wall here at Heywood Road, Evie has proven over the last two seasons to be the greatest fix to shoring up any PWR midfield defence.”
