Sale Sharks is delighted to announce leading global wealth manager, UBS, as the new sponsor of its Business Club for the 2025/26 season.

The sponsorship will see UBS and the Sharks join forces to give local entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes across the region the chance to network, collaborate, build relationships and grow.
In addition, UBS will sponsor the club’s annual Foundation Day matchday, where the club celebrates and raises vital funds to support the life-changing work done by the Sale Sharks Foundation in schools and communities across the North West.
The Business Club will hold events across the season, starting with an exclusive chance to meet some of the Sharks’ latest arrivals at ‘In With the New’, on Wednesday 3rd December.
The event, at new city centre golf venue ‘Pitch’, will see former Shark, Mark Cueto, interview the new men’s Head Coach, Marco Bortolami, women’s Head Coach, Tom Hudson, new Men’s captain, Ernst van Rhyn, new signing, Marius Louw, and one of Sale Sharks Women’s new signings.
Guests will also hear from the team at UBS Global Wealth Management in Manchester, to learn about how they’re advising business owners and entrepreneurs, as a global bank with a local lens.
The team is based in the city centre and have backgrounds in investment banking, wealth planning and asset management. All have deep roots in the region and are well-versed in working with clients locally in Manchester and the North West, acting as a gateway to UBS’s global network.
