JACK LEECH APPOINTED CEO OF SALE SHARKS FOUNDATION
Sale Sharks Foundation is delighted to announce that Jack Leech has been appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
A member of the Foundation’s Senior Leadership Team for the past six years, Jack moves into the position on a permanent basis following a successful period as Interim CEO.
Jack first joined Sale Sharks Foundation in 2014 and brings 12 years of experience within the charity, alongside an extensive understanding of its programmes, partners and the communities it serves.
He most recently held the position of Head of Rugby Development and Operations, playing a key role in the development and delivery of the Foundation’s rugby provision, as well as the administrative functions and procedures for the organisation.
As Chief Executive Officer, Jack will lead on the delivery of the Foundation’s Levelling the Field strategy, working alongside its Board of Trustees, staff, the club, partners and funders to build on the charity’s progress and increase its impact across communities in the North West.
Natasha Hanson, Chair of Trustees at Sale Sharks Foundation, said:
“Having already made a significant contribution to the Foundation, Jack brings considerable knowledge of our organisation, our strategic priorities and our communities.
“Jack’s appointment provides valuable continuity and leadership at an important time for the Foundation. Building on our progress in demonstrating wider social value and creating more opportunities for women and girls through rugby, Jack will be instrumental in delivering our Levelling the Field strategy and turning our objectives into meaningful and lasting impact.
“The Board is confident that Jack’s experience, relationships and understanding of the communities we work alongside will help strengthen the Foundation’s work and the positive difference we make across the North West.”
