We’re here to support people through the good times, and the tough times. Sharks Forces helps veterans annually through a number of activities, and we love that we are able to give back and support the veterans and serving personnel in our community.
Crusaders Fin Club
Our Crusaders Fin Club is a thriving tag rugby programme for young people with Down’s syndrome. Delivered as part of our Tackle Together programme, in partnership with the MBNA Community Investment Programme, it welcomes players for free, inclusive, non-contact tag rugby sessions, every other Sunday at Sale Sharks’ Carrington Training Centre.
Beyond the physical activity, Crusaders Fin Club has also become a vital support network for both players and families. For many participants, the group offers a sense of purpose and belonging, a safe space to be themselves, enjoy the game they love, and build lasting friendships.

Sharks Together
Our Sharks Together programme represents a placed-based approach towards tackling increasing prevalence of loneliness, isolation and long-term health conditions amongst older men living within the Sale West area of Sale.
Providing opportunities for older men 50+ to connect, form friendships and receive support for their health and wellbeing, Sharks Together is supported by The National Lottery Community Fund.
Northern Force
Northern Force is a heritage, education and community engagement project celebrating Sale Sharks’ 20th anniversary of European and domestic success. It takes sporting heritage and rugby-inspired experiences into local schools, care homes and to the wider Sale Sharks community.
