Everyone at Sale Sharks was deeply saddened yesterday to learn of the death of Her Majesty The Queen and the thoughts and prayers of everyone at the club remain with the Royal Family.
The club shares in the nation’s grief and would like to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II for a lifetime of selfless service to her country and almost 70 years of inspirational leadership and immeasurable service to public life, including sport.
Following consultation with Premiership Rugby, and after receiving guidance from DCMS, the decision was taken to postpone the Gallagher Premiership fixture against Northampton Saints, scheduled for Friday, September 9.
The fixture has now been rescheduled for Sunday, September 11, at 3pm. All tickets purchased for the original date – including season tickets – will still be valid.
Full refunds will be provided to anyone who purchased a match ticket and is unable to attend the rearranged date. For a refund*, email support@salesharks.com.
The cut off to claim your refund is 10pm on Saturday, September 10.
*Please note, refunds will not include your booking fee.
