Terms and Conditions – Sale Sharks x FOW First Try Scorer

  1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Sale Sharks Rugby Club (“Promoter”), in partnership with FOW Car Supermarket (“Prize Partner”).

  1. Competition Date

The competition will take place at every Sale Sharks Gallagher PREM fixture at the CorpAcq Stadium for the 2025/26 season.

  1. Eligibility
  • The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
  • Employees, players and the families of players of Sale Sharks, FOW Car Supermarket, and their associated companies are not eligible to enter.
  • Only those attending Sale Sharks fixtures with either a 2025/26 Season Ticket or match ticket are eligible to enter. Staff passes and other tickets are excluded.
  1. How to Enter
  • To enter the competition, participants must:
    1. Be in possession of a Sale Sharks home match ticket for the Gallagher PREM fixture they are entering to take part in the First Try Scorer Game.
    2. Complete the form (Click Here) to register Your interest for the First Try Scorer Game.
  • One entry per game. Supporters unsuccessful in selection can enter for future games.
  1. The Prize
  • The prize is an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Sale Sharks High Performance Centre – Carrington Training Ground for two guests.
  • The prize is not transferable and must be redeemed by the person registering through the form.
  1. Winner Selection & Notification
  • The winner will be selected at random from all entries for the respective Gallagher PREM fixture
  • The draw will take place during the fixture, and the winner will be contacted by a member of the Sale Sharks’ Commercial Team
  • If the winner cannot be contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select another winner.
  1. General Conditions
  • The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or suspend the half-time competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
  • The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  1. Publicity
  • The winner agrees to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the competition for both the Promoter and the Prize Partner, including photographs, press releases, and social media content.
  1. Liability
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical faults or circumstances beyond its control.
  • The Promoter and Prize Partner shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury suffered by the winner in connection with the half-time competition, except where caused by their negligence.
  1. Governing Law
  • This competition and these Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  1. Data, Marketing and Third Party 
  • All who submit their details via the form may be contacted by Sale Sharks for marketing purposes.
  • As part of entering personal information as part of the competition, supporters’ details will also be passed onto FOW Car Supermarket for marketing purposes. 
  • There will be an option for individuals to opt out of either of these, should they wish to, at point of entering their details via the form.
