Amy Cokayne returns to the Sharks matchday squad after injury while new signings Brittany Hogan and Asia Hogan-Rochester will pull on a Sale shirt for the first time as Tom Hudson names a strong side for the visit to Bristol in the first PWR game of 2026.
Fly-half Holly Aitchison starts against her former club and she’s joined in the XV by fellow Red Rose Morwenna Talling and USA Eagles Georgie Perris-Redding, Nick James, Erica Jarrell-Searcy and Olivia Ortiz.
Sharks Head Coach Hudson has picked a front row with a mix of youth and experience with hooker Milly Hyndman teaming up with international props Gwen Pyrs and James.
Talling and Jarrell-Searcy resume their partnership in the second row and in the back row, skipper Perris-Redding is joined by Katie Childs and number 8 Sharifa Kasolo.
Ortiz and Aitchison are the half-backs and they’ll have Katana Howard and Evie Wills outside them in the centres. Scottish flyers Shona Campbell and Rhona Lloyd are on the wings with Lizzie Duffy at full-back.
Cokayne returns from a calf injury to take her place on a strong Sharks bench, which features six internationals. Props Leah Bartlett and Sophie Benavent as well as Evan Donaldson and Irish back row Hogan are the other replacement forwards.
Amy Relf, Courtney Keight and Canadian sensation Hogan-Rochester are the backs on the bench.
