SHARKS CALLED UP FOR ENGLAND DUTY

England Rugby head coach Steve Borthwick has named six Sharks in a 33-player training squad in preparation for the England XV v France XV match on Friday 19 June (kick-off 5.15pm BST).

Tom Curry, Asher Opoku-Fordjour, George Ford, Raffi Quirke and Tom Roebuck are all in contention to face France at Stade de la Rabine in Vannes while Luke Cowan-Dickie will join up with the squad to continue his rehab from a broken arm.

The squad, which does not include players involved in the PREM Final, assembles this morning (Monday 15 June) and will train at England’s Performance Centre at Pennyhill Park until Thursday before departing for France. 

Following the match in Vannes, England begin their Nations Championship campaign taking on South Africa in Johannesburg on Saturday 4 July, followed by matches against Fiji and Argentina. All matches will be broadcast live on ITV Sport.
