Aimed at supporting men over-50 with long-term health conditions, including Parkinson’s, Sharks Together is a programme delivered thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.
Delivered through weekly activity and social sessions in the Sale West area of Sale, it represents a placed-based approach towards tackling increasing prevalence of long-term health condition, loneliness and isolation.

The regular physical activity, social connection and structured support helps to improve wellbeing, maintain independence and enhance quality of life.
Sessions:
Sale Sports Club, Wednesdays – Parkinsons specific
Sale Moor Community Centre, Thursdays – Wellbeing Walk
Both sessions followed by social time and free refreshments
