Your new-look Sharks will kick off the 2026/27 season with a home PREM Rugby Cup fixture against Bath Rugby – and tickets for that game are now on sale!
Johann van Graan’s star-studded side will head north on Sunday 6th September (KO 3pm) for the first match of eight – four at home and four away – in the pool stage of this year’s competition.
The following week (Saturday 12th September) Alex Sanderson’s squad – which features 12 new senior signings including England stars Courtney Lawes and Joe Marchant – will head to Kingsholm to face Gloucester before the competition takes a break.
When it resumes, Sharks face back-to-back home games as they host Bristol Bears on Friday 6th November (KO 7.45pm) and then Exeter Chiefs the following Friday (Friday 13th November, KO 7.45pm).
Round six kicks off in January 2027 with Sharks heading to Ashton Gate to face Bristol Bears (Saturday 30th January), and the following Saturday Your Sharks face Exeter Chiefs for the return fixture at Sandy Park (Saturday 6th February).
Round eight sees Sharks host Gloucester at the CorpAcq Stadium (Friday 12th February, KO 7.45pm) and after a bye in round nine, our pool stage concludes with a trip to Bath on Saturday 27th February.
PREM Rugby Cup format:
The 2026/27 edition of the PREM Rugby Cup features two pools of five teams, playing home and away over ten competition rounds between September and February. The top two teams from each pool will progress to the semi-finals, with the winners meeting in the PREM Rugby Cup Final.
Pool A: Bath Rugby, Bristol Bears, Gloucester Rugby, Exeter Chiefs, Sale Sharks
Pool B: Harlequins, Leicester Tigers, Newcastle Falcons, Northampton Saints, Saracens
