IRELAND SQUAD NAMED FOR WXV GLOBAL SERIES
Scott Bemand has named his 36-player Ireland squad for the WXV Global Series.
Sharks star Brittany Hogan has been named in the squad as Ireland look to grow from an impressive Six Nations campaign where they finished third behind England and France.
The Irish will host the USA and Japan in September. Against the Sakura, Hogan was Player of the Match in their last meeting, when they faced off in Franklin’s Gardens in the Rugby World Cup last summer.
While Hogan heads to Dublin, the rest of the Sharks squad continue their pre-season. The team will head to Cheltenham Tigers for a live training session before turning their attention to the first game of the season – hosting Loughborough Lightning in round one of the JAECOO Next Gen Cup and you can purchase your ticket to see the team here.
