THREE SHARKS NAMED IN WALES’ WXV GLOBAL SERIES SQUAD
Sale Sharks Women trio Courtney Keight, Gwenllian Pyrs and Kelsey Jones have all been named in Wales’ 39-player squad for the upcoming WXV Global Series.
The Sharks trio will link up with the Wales squad as head coach Sean Lynn prepares his side for the series which kicks off in September.
Keight, Pyrs and Jones all featured prominently for their country during the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup and will now have another opportunity to represent their country on the international stage.
New Shark Jones will be preparing for her first international campaign since making the move to Manchester this summer. The experienced hooker joined Sale from Gloucester-Hartpury ahead of the 2026/27 season after winning 57 Wales caps and appearing at three World Cups.
For the rest of the Sale squad attention remains on pre-season. The opening game with Loughborough Lightning is set to take place on the 19th September, with tickets available for the JAECOO PWR Next Gen Cup here.
