TWO SHARKS SET TO CAPTAIN THE USA
Three Sale Sharks Women have been named in USA’s WXV Global Series Squad.
Club captain Georgie Perris-Redding and fellow forward Erica Jarrell-Searcy have both been called up alongside centre Katana Howard.
The Global Series gets underway in Dublin on Sunday 20th September, before the Eagles travel to Cardiff to face Wales six days later and they will be led by two Sale players. Perris-Redding and Jarrell-Searcy will take their leadership skills from the Morson Stadium on to the international stage in an all-Sale captaincy pairing for the first time.
Both are regulars in the Eagles’ side and played at the World Cup last year, with Jarrell-Searcy scoring a memorable try in the opening game against the Red Roses which she went on to recreate in the first game of the JAECOO PWR season last year against Leicester Tigers.
With the international players setting their sights on the WXV series, the rest of the Sharks squad are focused on the first round of the JAECOO PWR Next Gen Cup. Loughborough Lightning travel to the Morson Stadium for the opening game and you can purchase your ticket for the action, here.
