TEAM NEWS: LEICESTER TIGERS vs SALE SHARKS WOMEN
Vicky Irwin starts at fly-half while Polly Bowman comes in for her first start of the season as Tom Hudson makes three changes to his side for the trip to Leicester on Saturday (October 10th, KO 3pm).
The final change sees pathway graduate Honey Cockroft-Smith come in to the centres where she’ll be partnered with Lizzie Goulden.
The Sharks Head Coach has picked an unchanged front row for the final JAECOO PWR Next Gen fixture of the season with Tysh Harper and Nick James packing down either side of the Milly Hyndman.
Bowman and Charlotte Fray team up in the engine room and they’ll have a familiar back row for support with Katie Childs, Kendall Waudby and captain Sharifa Kasolo combining once again.
Scrum-half Amy Relf has Ireland international Irwin for company at half-back and they’ll have the new centre combination of Cockroft-Smith and Goulden outside them.
Hudson has picked the same back three combination once again with Holly Thorpe and Sophie Hopkins starting on the wings and Freya Aucken at full-back.
Harriet Thompson-Ogden, Lotte Peirsegaele, Evie Roach, Georgina Holmes and Alba Capell are the forwards on a 5-3 bench with scrum-half Spencer Boldt, centre Laura Perrin and winger Eva Wood making up the rest of the replacements.
