Sale Sharks Foundation is the charity partner of Sale Sharks Rugby Club. We’re Levelling the Field for communities across the North West by harnessing the power of rugby to boost health, fight inequality, and foster a sense of belonging.
We work hard every day to deliver change in our communities to people of all ages and abilities.
We work with more than 15,000 people annually in three key areas: Community Inclusion, Education and Rugby Development. You can see our impact by checking out our latest Sharks Watch Impact Report. Our highly skilled, dynamic and passionate team deliver 30+ community projects that change lives across the region.
Foundation Day is a special event, with loads of activations dedicated to celebrating and supporting the Sale Sharks Foundation.
Foundation Day 2025
On Friday 25th April 2025, Sale Sharks hosted the club’s second annual Foundation Day, once again highlighting the incredible community impact delivered through the Sale Sharks Foundation. Taking place at the home fixture against Saracens, the event built on the success of the inaugural launch, delivering an even bigger and better experience for fans and supporters.
Supporters purchased online raffle tickets, placed bids on auctions, and on the evening of the Saracens match, fans enjoyed a packed programme of activities, including inflatables, exclusive photo opportunities with players, and community-themed activations. The event managed to raise an astonishing £9,000 for the Sale Sharks Foundation.
