Sharks agreed a deal to sign explosive tighthead prop Cebo Dlamini on a two-year deal from the start of the 2026/27 season.
The South African started his career with the Vodacom Bulls and played three Currie Cup games before moving to the Griquas in 2023.
At the Griquas, Dlamini made almost 60 appearances, captaining the side during the victorious 2025 competition.
Cebo made his URC debut while on loan at the Hollywoodbets Sharks in October 2025 and that was followed up with his European debut against Toulouse in the Champions Cup.
In December 2025 he joined the Dragons and made seven appearances for the Welsh side, including two in the European Challenge Cup.
After signing, Cebo said: “I want to find a club that I can call home so I can try and reach my full potential. I know that a lot of South African players have gone to the Prem and become much better players through the quality and professionalism of the league.”
