Prop Nick James picked up rugby when she was 19 after a friend suggested it would be a great way for her to remain involved in sport and meet new people.
A former state champion in powerlifting, Nick immediately excelled in her new sport, earning Collegiate All-American honours in 2010 before making the switch to Sharks, along with fellow Eagles Catie Benson and Katana Howard, ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Nick earned her first international cap for the USA against England at the Rugby World Cup in Ireland.
