Ulster native Vicky Irwin joined Sale Sharks Women in 2020 and made her debut for the club in November of that year.
She began her rugby career with City of Armagh before, progressing to a leadership role at just 18 years old. She moved on to Ballynahinch, where she got her first taste of senior rugby, then to Cooke to play in the All-Ireland league.
Versatile Vicky, who can play centre, wing, full-back or fly-half, made her full Ireland debut against Scotland at the end of the Women’s Six Nations in 2022.
