Prop WillGriff John re-joined Sharks for his second spell at the club at the end of the 2023/24 season as injury cover - and then extended his contract in April 2025.
The Welsh international prop, who starred for his country in the 2025 Six Nations, originally joined Sharks in 2017 from Championship side Doncaster and made 82 appearances for the club in four seasons before joining Scarlets.
He represented Scarlets for two seasons, making 19 appearances and appearing for Wales for the first time, before leaving to join French side Racing 92 on a short-term deal.
After re-joining Sharks last season, he became an integral part of the matchday 23 and his form led to a call-up for the 2025 Six Nations.
