We’re inviting you to be part of our inaugural First XV, a collective of 15 visionary partners, each contributing £5,000 (or equivalent in-kind value) annually to help us level the field across the North West.
Your money will go directly towards helping us:
- Breaking Barriers– tackling inequality head on, standing alongside women and girls, disabled people, those experiencing poverty, and young people at risk
- Stronger Together– building belonging and community through the spirit of rugby.
- Healthy Futures– championing healthier lives, supporting our communities to eat well, be well, and age well with confidence and care at every stage of life.
WHY NOW?
Now more than ever, communities across the North West are facing deepening inequalities. With 37% of children living in poverty and persistent gaps in access to sport, the need for inclusive, accessible programmes is urgent. Rugby can be a powerful tool to reach those who are too often left behind—offering structure, connection, and hope. This is our moment to stand up for those facing the greatest barriers and ensure that no one is left on the sidelines.
- Only 44% of girls meet daily activity guidelines
- One-third of disabled children take part in less than 30 minutes of sport and physical activity per day
- 8.1 year life expectancy gap between richest and poorest areas for men
