She is strong, athletic and agile with the ball in hand and im sure she will add to the leadership team we are developing within the squad.  The level of talent that we have in the squad now is really exciting and it says a lot about where we want to be and about our ambition to be able to attract players of Lauren’s quality. As we build, drive our standards and look to have an impact and influence on the league in our first season, Lauren will definitely complement squad in all the right areas.”

It an impressive set up, the club really shows its professionalism in all aspects and with Darren and Katy leading the coaching set up it’s an exciting time be a joining Sale Sharks. I am really looking forward to being a part of a club taking the next step in developing women’s rugby in the North West, I think we have the infrastructure around us, the facilities and the players to really take the women’s game to the next level in the North.
