TEAM NEWS: Sharks make six changes for Gloucester-Hartpury clash

Gwen Pyrs and Olivia Ortiz are set for their first Sharks starts of the season as Tom Hudson makes six changes to his side for the trip to face Gloucester-Hartpury at Kingsholm on Saturday (KO 3pm).

Nikita Prothero starts on the wing while Sharifa Kasolo returns to the back row after being named on the bench for the home defeat to Trailfinders in round two.

Head Coach Hudson makes two changes in the front row as Welsh international Pyrs and Nick James come in either side of hooker and captain Amy Cokayne.

Iona Antwis and Morwenna Talling team up again in the second row with former Saracen Kasolo joining Katie Childs and Erica Jarrell-Searcy in the back row.

USA Eagle Ortiz starts at scrum-half with Holly Aitchison at fly-half and they’ll have the ever-present Katana Howard and Scotland star Evie Wills outside them in the centres.

Prothero starts on the left wing with Rhona Lloyd on the right and Lizzie Duffy at full-back.

Tom Hudson has opted for a 5-3 split on the bench with Scarlett Fielding, who will make her 50th Sharks appearance, Tysh Harper and Sophie Benavent named as the front-row replacements. Charlotte Fray and Georgie Perris-Redding are the other back-five options.

Scrum-half Amy Relf, centre Beatrice Rigoni and summer signing Shona Campbell are the backs on the bench.
