Holly Thorpe

Holly Thorpe joined Sale Sharks Women from DMP Sharks ahead of the 2022/23 season, making her debut in a 39-14 defeat at Loughborough Lightning. 

A versatile back three player who can cover both wing and full back, Hexham-born Holly had returned to the North East from Loughborough College. 

In Holly’s first season in Manchester, Holly impressed with her pace and try scoring ability and quickly earned herself a regular spot in the team. She scored six tries in her debut season as Sharks won seven games to finish seventh. 

Holly, who has represented England at both U18 and U20 level, signed a new contract ahead of the 2025/26 season.
