Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Videographer role based in Carrington. The Videographer will plan, shoot, and edit video content that showcases the club’s matches, training sessions, player stories, and community initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include operating cameras and lighting equipment, capturing high-quality footage at home and training grounds, stadiums and other locations and collaborating with marketing and communications teams to deliver engaging content for digital and social media channels. The role involves preparing equipment, and ensuring all content aligns with club brand guidelines and deadlines. The Videographer will also contribute creative ideas for new formats and campaigns that deepen fan engagement.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Create and share engaging, creative video on our social media platforms and big screen on matchday.
• Shooting on a Sony A7 V.
• Filming training, interviews and entertaining features, creatively framing and capturing action
• Editing content on Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects creating multiple VT edits, optimised for each platform
• Supporting graphic creation and music to bring video content to life
• Following shoot plans, assembling camera and lighting, responding quickly to directions
• Edit video quickly and to a high standard, keeping up with emerging trends and acting on them.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in video production, including planning, shooting, and basic to advanced editing.
• Proficient camera operation, with hands-on experience using professional Camera systems for live and recorded content.
• Ability to manage lighting setups and adapt to varied shooting conditions in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Demonstrated experience shooting video in fast-paced, live sports or events settings.
• Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic audio editing.
• Excellent organisational skills, including media management, file backup, and workflow efficiency.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in line with fixtures and club events.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with marketing, coaching, and community teams.
• Understanding of social media platforms and best practices for short-form and long-form video content.
• Relevant experience in sports videography or a comparable fast-paced environment; a degree or qualification in film, media, or a related field is beneficial.
