MDS will also sponsor Sale stars Joe Marchant and Ben Bamber and four of the firm’s lorries will be decked out in distinctive Sharks branding.

As part of the deal, MDS will also run school cycling safety sessions from Sharks’ CorpAcq Stadium.

MDS’s association with the club began in the 2024/25 season when they sponsored forward JL du Preez. The following year they sponsored JL’s twin brother Dan.

Sharks Chief Executive Paul Smith said: “We’ve really enjoyed working with MDS and getting to know the team over the past two years as a player sponsor and now we’re really excited to be welcoming them as an official club partner for the next three seasons.

“MDS is a business with community at its heart and a strong reputation for delivering supply chain solutions at scale through the UK’s largest high-cube trailer network. That combination of ambition, performance and long-term thinking aligns perfectly with our vision here at Sale Sharks.

“It’s a partnership with real potential for both parties and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”

MDS Operations Director Mark Davies said: “Our partnership with Sale Sharks is built on a natural alignment of values, with both organisations placing great importance on teamwork, performance and long-term success.

“We’re proud to extend our support through this sponsorship and look forward to continuing our relationship with the club, its supporters and the wider community.

“We’re excited to build on the strong foundations already in place and support Sale Sharks in the seasons ahead.”
