Sale have a chance to notch up 40 points, but they knock on inside Ulster’s half.

Referee calls an end to the game .

Ulster have a rare chance to attack with the ball but it comes to nothing and Sale win the penalty on halfway.

From the scrum Sharks spread the ball wide with intent and allow Carps to do what he does best, he links with Reed for yet another.

RDP misses the extra two.

Cobus Wiese makes a bust through the middle to open play but his offload slips through the fingers of Du Preez.

Ulster look to play quickly from the lineout but RDP steals the loose ball and offloads to McGuigan who glides under the posts to score for the bonus point.

RDP converts to rack up 34 points.

Ulster have a period of pressure in Sale’s 22 but the Sharks defence is solid and Josh Beaumont wins a vital turnover. Sharks push Ulster back to halfway through the boot of Sam James.

Off the scrum, the ball is fired to RDP and offers Curtis a run-in under the posts.

RDP converts successfully.

Sale kick in behind and Tom Curry steals the recovered ball and keeps the pressure deep in Ulster’s 22.

Sharks continue the momentum and Ulster are penalised for offside once again, Sam James kicks to the corner for a Sale lineout.

The home side make a mess of their lineout routine but Ulster knock-on, giving Sale a scrum 5-metres from the opposition try line.

Sharks turn the ball over and break from their own half through O’Flaherty, who is brought down in the Ulster 22.

Sale recycle the ball and fire it towards the opposite wing but knock on in the ruck.

Sale are back in the Ulster 22 after winning the penalty at the scrum but after a successful lineout RDP stumbles at the last hurdle.

Ulster relieve the pressure and slowly crawl into the Sharks half.

Rob Du Preez is pulling the strings as he catches his own deflected pass and runs under the posts to score.

RDP just misses the conversion.

Sale win the penalty at the scrum during the opening minutes of the second half but the subsequent lineout is loose and Ulster are able to clear.

Sharks close the last five minutes of the half in the ascendancy with a smart kick from Tom Curtis pinning Ulster in their 22.

Ulster look to close the half with some points on the scoreboard with a scrum inches away from the line, Sharks turnover the ball and send it further upfield.

Sale get penalised for collapsing the scrum and Ulster kick up the field. #YourSharks turn it over but Hill gets penalised for being offside and Ulster kick to the corner for a line out.

Ulster look to get in the Sharks half but an excellent clear out from #YourSharks turn play over and close down Ulster’s line.

Ulster get penalised for offside and RDP uses the advantage to kick outside to Flats but the kick is short, play returns just 5m out.

Aaker controls the maul but the ball is held up.

Sharks are gifted a shot under the posts as Ulster get penalised for no clear release.

RDP converts successfully.

From the off Tom Curry comes bursting from the back to keep the pressure in Ulster’s half as they look to ride the momentum. Just 5m out RDP looks for a quick offload to Gus but Ulster are rewarded a knock on penalty and look to release some of the pressure out of their half.

A tap and go from Gus brings Sharks close to the whitewash he releases to Dan Du Preez to go over.

RDP converts successfully.

Those first points look to have set a spark in Sharks play as they close down on the Ulster 22 again after Ulster get penalised for offside.

Tom Curry crashes through the Ulster defence to bring them into touching distance Aaker decided to have a go himself but just falls short.

RDP is on fire with a back hand pass to send rapid Reedy into the gap and Tom Curry to cross the line, RDP just misses the kick.

Sharks string a perfect set of passes to close down on Ulster’s 22, Sam James sees space in the corner to kick. Sharks now have possession and look to cross the line but an Aaker knocks it on for an Ulster scrum.

Carpenter looked to make a break and apply pressure on the Ulster defence looks to pass to RDP but just fall shorts and Ulster knock it on.

Sale scrum inside their half.

Sale look to diffuse the momentum Ulster are building in attack and win another penalty for no clear release to line out just past the halfway mark.

Sharks win the line out and look to maul it forward however the ball is turned over and Ulster edge up.
